After the party - SOLD

Sunday post: Sundays I take the day off and post a work previously done, from my website.
After the party is a mixed media piece. I was in a mood to just let go and experiment. The drapery on the figure is cheesecloth dipped in strong tea.

Kim I am never disappointed when I visit your blog I learn something every time. I love experimenting and you seem to also this painting is beautiful and thought provoking. Thanks once again.

Kim I absolutley love this! Wow... The cheesecloth idea is very effective. This is the kinda piece that draws you in and makes you look at it. I love the cursive writing, the colour scheme, and the overall composition. Well done!

Thanks Ron and Ralph! I wish I could do more like this but so far it hasn't happened. The figure painting and words have to fall into place, and it hasn't happened since this piece. Maybe I'll have to give myself a nudge ; )

Not that I'm starting a fan club or anything, but is there NOTHING you cannot do? This is dreamy!

I just love this. It's a complete departure from daily paintings and it just speaks to me.
I recently completed a 'dream' piece as part of a painting challenge and was pleased at producing a work that was 'outside the box', for me.
I look forward to doing more.
