Stacked (in the city)

So I am taking an abstract painting class and I have to say abstract painting is tough, tough, tough! But thoroughly enjoyable. This is acrylic on canvas, 15"x30". Below is a detail.

Love it! Wonderful balance of colour and lots of movement. Can I see spring in there LOL?

If you don't mind my asking, where are you taking the class? I haven't heard of any abstract painting classes, though I enjoy Rolina van Vliet's book Abstracts: 50 Inspirational Projects"
Stay inspired!

It's wonderful!
I see trees in the background with maybe waterfalls and perhaps a holiday park in the foreground... I wonder what everyone else sees? :0)

That usually happens with something you try new. Keep working at it if you like abstract.

I bet it's tough. I wouldn't have any idea of where to start! I like this one a lot Kim. How do you come up with the ideas?? I'd really like to know that. :)

I'm a fan of your abstracts. I love Park too. I agree with you that abstract is tough. Getting the right balance of color/form/movement.
